He advised against doing a splice inside the wall on a 120-volt circuit, explaining that it’s not safe or up to code since splices need to be accessible in a junction box. That gave me a lot of confidence that he prioritizes safety and quality over taking shortcuts. He was also upfront about everything. For example, he let me know ahead of time that a wall would need to be cut and that I’d need a small drywall patch after, so there were no surprises. He clearly wants the job done right.
